What is Blepharitis

Blepharitis affects both children and adults. It causes inflammation of the eyelids, commonly at the edges, and both eyes are usually affected. Blepharitis can be complicated to diagnose because a number of overlapping factors may be responsible.

While it is not generally serious, it may become uncomfortable and it tends to recur, so expect to manage the condition rather than cure it.
